Event Communications has designed the H.C. Andersens House exhibition in Odense, Denmark.

This project brings together immersive sets, captivating media and playful activities to create moments of magic – visual trickery and mind-bending illusions – that transport visitors into an "Andersenian Universe".

"Imagine a museum turned completely on its head. Imagine, instead, that it is a magical realm. One where you become a character in a fairytale, encounter storybook characters and witness inanimate objects come to life," said Event Communications. "This was our concept for the new Hans Christian Andersen House, a museum that tells the story of one of the world's greatest storytellers."

Designers Event Communications delivered the project from the master plan through to opening day.

This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
