Ralph Appelbaum Associates has designed the Second World War Galleries exhibition at the Imperial War Museum in London, United Kingdom.
This project was the redevelopment of the Second World War Galleries at London's Imperial War Museum (IWM) representing a major new update and revision of this pivotal period in history.
Developed alongside a new set of Holocaust Galleries, the Second World War Galleries broaden the context of the War's traditional story by emphasising the global nature of the conflict and reflecting on the enduring impact this pivotal moment of history still has on Britain.
IWM's shared vision for the Second World War Galleries is to help people, as global citizens, make sense of today by gaining a deeper understanding of the connections between past conflict and the contemporary world.
This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
