Tom Postma Design has designed the Mauritshuis – In Full Bloom exhibition in Den Haag, Netherlands.

This project was designed for the 200-year anniversary of the Mauritshuis, where Tom Postma Design was commissioned to design an exhibition celebrating the genre of Dutch still life flower painting, its development, and its connection to nature and science.

This chronological exhibition was made up of some 50 artworks, including oil paintings, drawings, watercolours, prints and books.

"The relationship between art, nature and science told in the story of the exhibition, mixed with the desire to make the show as sustainable as possible, inspired us to create a custom, bio-based material that connected historical and contemporary innovation in Dutch horticulture and trade," added Tom Postma Design.

This project has been longlisted in the exhibition design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
