Linshaobin Design Shenzhen has designed Moonlight – Gem Garden in Shenzhen, China.

Gem Garden is a high-end Chaoshan restaurant located in the centre of Shenzhen, a first-tier city in China.

Taking advantage of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Gem Garden launched a gift box for its own brand named Moonlight. The design was intended to express the hometown coastal city of Chaoshan.

An empty Chaoshan-type window is designed outside the box, and the bronzing points in the illustration of the outer box correspond to the full moon inside the box, presenting the theme of Moonlight.

The aesthetics of the whole design is a low-key narrative with delicate emotions – while the prominent theme combines indoors and outdoors providing visitors with space for thinking and imagination.

This project has been longlisted in the graphic design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
