M.R. Studio has designed Ones Restaurant in Central, Hong Kong.

This project's interior results in a placid place, reminiscent of the ravishing and tranquil environs of Antelope Canyon. The client required the interior of the restaurant to represent the company's overall image – while attracting lots of young customers to visit and upload their photos on social media to help promote the restaurant.

"It has been an intriguing collaboration with those aspiring talents," said M.R. Studio. "We are encouraged to challenge the conventional way of thinking."

There were some interesting challenges faced by the design team during the course of the project. These included ensuring the vibe during the day and night strongly differed from each other – while complementing one another. Additionally, the team has to assure that every corner of the restaurant was picturesque and able to match the photographers' album and the chef's dishes.

This project has been longlisted in the restaurant and bar interiors category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
