Scry has designed the Scry Shuttle in Beijing, China.

This project claims to be the world's first pair of integrated additive manufacturing footwear that is actually wearable.

The whole shoe uses an integrated printing process to realise the manufacturing process without assembly, any unnecessary material waste or a lengthy assembly line.

The single material is designed through different engineering structures to achieve the required performance of different parts and has the convenience of recycling far beyond other shoes in the recycling stage.

"We own the technical and appearance patents of Scry Shuttle," added Scry. "We created a new category in the footwear industry, integrated 3D-printed shoes."

This project has been longlisted in the wearable design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
