Von Heilig has created a side table that encapsulates timeless modern design.

The project is inspired by the historic work of the cooper, a person responsible for creating wooden, staved vessels held together with wooden or metal hoops.

Created in Germany using domestic ash from 100% FSC- and PEFC-certified forests in the Spessart region, the table's body and top are meticulously handcrafted and colourless bio-clear lacquered, while the additional Black Edition is stained black, oiled black and bio-clear lacquered.

Reminiscent of Bauhaus architecture with a reduced, intelligent, precise and elegant form, the table encapsulates craftsmanship, composure and versatility of use.

This project has been longlisted in the furniture design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
