LukLukstudio has created an unconventional car showroom in China that welcomes customers with a home-like feel.
The space is located in the Nanchang NIO House project, where the design introduces the unconventional car showroom model to the water town.
An open-plan gallery defines the car display floor, while a continuous arched ceiling, inspired by water waves, hangs over a warm multifunctional wooden living room on the community floor.
With a focus on human-scale details, the resultant 'living room' is a service hub where potential and existing car owners come together to build a progressive community of the future.
This project has been longlisted in the large retail interiors category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
