The Synergist has produced a workspace in Korea that creates a feeling of transition and new possibility.

The project is the office of The Synergist, whose name is a homophone of 新語之 (pronounced syn - er - gy) which translates loosely to 'creating and discussing a new spatial language'.

In developing the concept, the transition space was designed to embody the concept of both physical movement from one place to another, as well as a transition of psychological state.

The transition space was designed so that as users walk through they are keenly aware of moving to a new place, even if only for a few steps lasting just seconds.

This project has been longlisted in the small workspace interiors category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
