Offecct has created an acoustic panel room divider for flexible office options.
The sound absorber Thelma is so-called after designer Pauline Deltour's daughter, a name that is said to mean 'divine protection'.
Its elegant design and smart means of manufacture without the need for lengthy factory processes sees a deceptively simple acoustic room divider upholstered in textile, with a wheeled frame in lacquered metal.
Sound-absorbing sheets, made of recycled textiles and PET bottles, are then covered with fabrics to provide high measurement results of sound absorption, while the wheels allow for easy manoeuvrability to create different spaces.
This project has been longlisted in the workplace design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
