IKEA of Sweden and Sabine Marcelis have collaborated to produce a lighting solution that invites creativity and joy.
The collaboration comprises two LED wall lamps, designed to explore the relationship between light and beauty, transforming the home in new and magical ways.
When the light is off the objects live in the home as anonymous sculptural pieces – when the light is activated they come to life to add character and creativity. The sculptural quality is enhanced further with placement, mounted either horizontally or vertically.
The two lamps are part of a bigger collection which will be launched in beginning of 2023, exploring the emotional value of light and home furnishing accessories.
This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
