Public vote winner for product design of the year: SURI has created an electric toothbrush that cares as much for the planet as it does for teeth.

SURI, short for Sustainable Rituals, is a sustainable electric toothbrush that delivers effective cleaning with innovative plant-based materials, without compromising on quality, performance, or design.

The product encompasses plant-based brush heads made from recyclable materials, and a durable aluminium body created in a modular manner to be repaired for life. Each surface follows the curve of the hand and creates an ergonomic brush to use, while the heads were designed to eliminate toothpaste build-up.

Further thoughtful accessories include a UV cleaning case and magnetic wall mount charger – when activated, the UV case sterilises the brush's bristles for one minute to eliminate bacteria build-up daily and is designed to fit into any bathroom interior seamlessly.

This project has been shortlisted in the product design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
