Winner: Emerging interior design studio of the year 2022. Raul Sanchez Architects is a Barcelona-based interior design studio founded by architect Raúl Sánchez.

The studio's approach to architecture and design is based on what it calls "humanism and technique" – a process that relies on conceptual ideas and constructive coherence.

According to the studio, it does not work with preconceived methods, but with a building's space, in conjunction with its light, colour, texture, and structure.

Judges' comments: "Raúl Sánchez Architects demonstrates a wide variety of projects that all embrace unique challenges. The outcomes exhibit authenticity and clever, bold yet sensitive uses of colour and texture."
