Anja Köhler is head of sustainability at building developer EDGE.

Since joining EDGE in 2019, Köhler has worked on the product excellence team, in Edge Next and is currently in the innovation and environmental, social and governance (ESG) team. In her current role as head of sustainability, Köhler is responsible for the company’s sustainability and ESG ambition and strategy across all operating countries.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in architecture from Beuth Hochschule Berlin, she worked in an architecture office before moving into real estate. She then went on to earn her masters in science management in the built environment from TU Delft and began her journey at EDGE as a master’s intern.

Köhler is committed to making the complex world of sustainability tangible and manageable for all stakeholders. Her ultimate objective is to contribute to the creation of better buildings for the world.
