Emily Oberman
Emily Oberman is a multidisciplinary designer and partner at the global branding studio Pentagram.
Oberman graduated from The Cooper Union in New York and began her career at M&Co design studio. She later co-founded Number Seventeen.
Her work has been recognized by the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the Type Directors Club (TDC), the Art Directors Club (ADC), and the Communication Arts (CA). Notable clients include Prime Video, Saturday Night Live, Warner Bros., Roxane Gay Books, The Tribeca Festival, and The Wizarding World.
She was awarded The Cooper Union’s Augustus Saint-Gaudens Award in 2004 and won the AIGA medal in 2022. She has taught at universities including Yale University, The Cooper Union, Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design.
