Kevin Carmody
Architect Kevin Carmody is co-founder of London-based studio Carmody Groarke.
The practice has gained international recognition for arts and cultural projects in the UK and overseas.
Recent projects include a temporary museum for Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Hill House in Scotland, the Windermere Jetty Museum in the Lake District, the restoration of the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester and urban student housing building in Milan for the Bocconi University.
Current projects include a comprehensive heritage restoration and extension to the Design Museum Gent in Belgium, plus a decarbonisation masterplan and new archive for the British Library in Boston Spa.
Dedicated to education in architecture, Carmody has taught at the Royal College of Arts, Bartlett School of Architecture and Yale School of Architecture. He is currently a design critic at Harvard University Graduate school of design.
