Lani Adeoye
Lani Adeoye is a Nigerian-Canadian designer and founder of Lagos-based Studio Lani.
The design brand's work spans furniture, lighting, wearables and assistance devices.
After completing her undergraduate degree in commerce at McGill University, Adeoye worked as a corporate consultant before graduating from Parsons School of Design, where she currently teaches.
Designer Adeoye's works have been acquired in the permanent collections of Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and Die Neue Sammlung. She won the Designing for our Future Selves award at Milan’s 2022 Salone Satellite with her project RemX and in 2020 was selected by Elle Décor in its Women of the World: 75 Global Female Designers Worth Celebrating issue.
Studio Lani founder Adeoye has been featured in the book 1000 Design Classics and also in Woman Made, a celebration of the world’s greatest female designers.
