Masamichi Katayama
Interior designer Masamichi Katayama is founder of Tokyo-based practice Wonderwall.
Wonderwall's work spans across interiors, creative direction and architectural design direction. The studio's portfolio is diverse and international, ranging from fashion boutiques and branding spaces to large-scale commercial complexes.
Some notable projects include global flagship stores for Japanese retail company Uniqlo in New York, Paris and Tokyo, Japan House in London and a store for fashion brand Kenzo's artistic director Nigo in Tokyo.
Katayama has been a professor at Tokyo’s Musashino Art University in the department of scenography, space and fashion design since 2011.
