Paola Navone
Italian designer Paola Navone is founder of Milan-based design studio OTTO.
Navone's approach to design is eclectic, seeking out materials, forms and structures from the past, present and future. She has travelled extensively in the southern hemisphere and combines these influences with the tastes and styles of the western world.
Navone has completed projects for hotels, restaurants and public spaces in South East Asia, the United States and Europe, particularly Italy and France. Navone has also curated a number of exhibitions around the world.
International accolades Navone has received include the Osaka International Design Award in 1983, Elle Deco International Design Awards for product design in 2011 and 2018, the Good Design Award in 2020 and the Red Dot Design Award in 2021. Navone was also inducted into the design hall of fame by New York-based Interior Design Magazine in 2014.
