Rossana Orlandi
Rossana Orlandi is founder and curator of eponymic design gallery Spazio Rossana Orlandi in Milan.
She graduated with a degree in fashion from Istituto Marangoni in London and later worked for designers Kenzo, Iseey, Donna Karan and Giorgio Armani.
Orlandi founded her contemporary design gallery in 2002, showcasing avant-garde designs and emerging global talent. Notable exhibitors include Marteen Baas, Formafantasma, Nacho Carbonell and Piet Hein Eek.
In 2019, she co-founded ''Guiltless Plastic'', an international creative community developing new philosophies for design and production with recycled, reused and upcycled materials. In addition, she launched the Ro Plastic Prize, an award to champion the responsible use of plastic.
Recognised for her contribution to design and international achievements, Orlandi received the Compasso d'Oro in 2022.
