Titi Ogufere
Lagos-based Titi Ogufere is the founder of Design Week Lagos, CEO of Essential Media Group and president of the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI).
Her contribution to Essential Media Group has provided an international platform for African designers, publishing two leading design and cultural magazines across the continent. In 2019, Ogufere founded Design Week Lagos to celebrate and convener the best African designs across multiple categories.
Ogufere founded Interior Design Association Nigeria, which champions global interior design standards. She was the youngest and first person of African descent elected 21st president of the International Federation of Interior Architects.
Passionate about contemporary African design, Ogufere produced the Netflix documentary series Made by Design, featuring Nigerian architects, interiors and product designers. She also directed the docufilm Mama Nike 2022.
