Jorge Herrera Studio has designed Calma, a bespoke freestanding bathtub.

"In the design of Calma, we have integrated several concepts and sensations," told Jorge Herrera Studio. "The first is calm itself, which is the space between one moment and another and also the Ichigo-Ichie concept, where the five senses live an unrepeatable moment."

With this in mind, a bespoke bathtub was designed, where the subtle beauty of simple things has something that catches and calms the user.

Calma subtly displays a soft and elegant geometry, reminiscent of a cup of tea that invites one to relax.

This project has been longlisted in the product design (bathroom and kitchen) category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
