Penadés Office has designed the Camper pop-up inside the Galeries Lafayette department store in Paris, France.

"The project [had] a very clear starting point... olive wood," said Penadés Office. "I designed a stackable stool that served both as a seating object and display element for the shoes."

Together with 360º mirrored hollow cubes that perform as fitting rooms and storage space at the same time, the entire pop-up shop can be packed away, shipped and re-installed elsewhere – thus amplifying the lifespan of the project.

The stools have also been designed with the same life cycle consciousness.

This project has been longlisted in the retail interior (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
