Thirdway has localised the American clubhouse brand Chief in a new members-only club in London, United Kingdom.

"Chief has a very strong identity, established through its US clubhouses, and London is their first international extension," said Thirdway. "A cosy home from home that invites all-female members in and offers space to connect, meet and relax, we wanted a mix of what felt Chief but with a London stamp."

The design of the clubhouse needed to adopt the history of the beautiful Georgian building and pay homage to the local London area, as well as marry Chief's ungendered style.

Feature wall panelling, bold earthy tones and custom light fittings give the space a prestigious London feel – while remaining comfortable and welcoming.

This project has been longlisted in the workplace interior (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
