SJW Architects has developed the Colemans Deli in Hathersage, United Kingdom.

Located in Hathersage – a village in the Peak District National Park renowned in the climbing world for its gritstone edges – Colemans Deli is a hub for locals and a gathering point for visitors seeking respite from the weather and terrain.

A honeyed palette and sculptural double-curved counter offer a welcoming escape from the jagged edges and wet, grey winters outside.

"A bespoke meadow installation of ferns, heather and seed heads, foraged from the surrounding moors further softens the interior, while simultaneously bringing in the drama of the surrounding landscape, made famous by Charlotte Brontë in Jane Eyre," said SJW Architects.

This project has been longlisted in the restaurant and bar interior category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
