FRD Design has created Cucina Alchimia – Institute for Experimental Cuisine.

Cucina Alchimia is a collaboration at the intersection of art, craft and cuisine, with an alchemical approach to fusion cuisine heavily influenced by the synergies between objects and food.

Those characteristics were summarised into three main topics – namely exploration, transformation and sustainability – which laid the foundation for the new branding.

"[Cucina Alchimia has] an appearance that proves its uniqueness by renouncing conventional corporate logic and relies on a multitude of reoccurring elements and alchemical symbols that are applied in different ways to create an uncanny rough look," said FRD Design.

This project has been longlisted in the graphic design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
