DSDHA has designed Exchange Square in London, United Kingdom.

Suspended above the tracks of Liverpool Street Station within the largest pedestrianised public realm in Central London, the creation of Exchange Square marks a significant milestone in a seven-year collaboration between DSDHA and British Land.

"[This project] has successfully transformed the public spaces surrounding one of the UK's busiest stations," said DSDHA.

Re-imagined as a bucolic landscape and generously planted green space – designed with inclusivity and accessibility at its heart – Exchange Square was driven by the ambition to create a vibrant space that encourages engagement and interactivity and provides a major new public park for the City of London.

This project has been longlisted in the infrastructure and transport project category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
