Studio ZNA has worked with Kengo Kuma and Event to create the lighting for the Hans Christian Andersen Museum.

Studio ZNA designed the lighting for the Hans Christian Andersen Museum which played a significant role in supporting the visitor's narrative experience throughout their journey, expressing the mood, tone and dynamic of the content.

The scope within this designed lightscape was to deliver the following: objects and graphic content lighting, mood lighting, theatrical and dynamic lighting, wayfinding and orientation lighting.

In addition, Studio ZNA wanted to express a connection with the garden realm exterior and stories realm interior.

This project has been longlisted in the architectural lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
