CCA | Centro de Colaboración Arquitectónica has designed and developed the High Performance Sports Center in Tabasco, Mexico.
"The High-Performance Sports Center in Tabasco, Mexico, stands as a monumental structure constructed with vibrant orange-toned concrete cartelas," said CCA.
This design element pays homage to the regional architectural heritage and creates a visual identity.
"By employing local construction workers, we fostered an authentic exchange of knowledge, blending design technologies with traditional craftsmanship," added CCA. "The result is a harmonious integration of modern design and bio-memory construction, which has enriched Tabasco's architectural landscape."
The Polideportivo serves as a beacon of community engagement, providing a vibrant and inclusive venue for sports and recreational activities in Jalpa de Méndez, embodying the spirit of the local community.
This project has been longlisted in the civic project category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
