Loop Biotech has developed the Living Urn product in collaboration with Studio Hendrikx.

The Living Urn is an eco-conscious product that revolutionises the burial experience.

This innovative urn, grown from mushrooms and upcycled hemp fibre, offers a sustainable solution to traditional memorials, empowering individuals to leave an enduring environmental legacy.

By naturally decomposing and enriching the soil, the Living Urn eliminates pollutants, fosters biodiversity and enables people to become trees.

This project has been longlisted in the sustainable design (consumer) category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
