Huť Architektury Martin Rajniš has built the Lookout Tower Závist in Dolní Břežany, Czech Republic.

The Lookout Tower Závist is an observation tower located on the edge of Celtic Oppidum Závist, in the south of Prague.

Designed by the acclaimed Huť Architektury Martin Rajniš, the tower is made of pressure-impregnated larch logs, connected by steel joints and rising 28 metres high.

The tower is part of a larger revitalisation project of the former Celtic Oppidum.

Not only does the tower provide panoramic views across central Bohemia, it also offers views down to the former Oppidum.

This project has been longlisted in the civic project category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
