John Tree has designed the Loop light for Tala.
"Loop is a light from the future, for the future," said John Tree.
Designed for Tala by John Tree, Loop unites the fitting and shade into a single piece of extruded aluminium, which is precision-cut to render its unique shape.
Intended for extra-long life, Loop takes inspiration from the infinite recyclable potential of aluminium and revels in its economic and efficient use of material.
Foregoing an applied finish, the aluminium is anodised to create distinctive tones and showcase the material’s natural lustre.
Paired with Tala's Sphere bulbs, Loop is available in two distinct sizes for the table, wall and ceiling.
This project has been longlisted in the lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
