Architecture Van Brandenburg has designed and developed the Marisfrolg Fashion Campus in Shenzhen, China.

Marisfrolg Fashion Apparel's founders selected New Zealand firm, Architecture van Brandenburg, to design their headquarters, an inspiring campus that seamlessly merges fashion, architecture and art.

"Nature's forms and double curvature geometry influenced the design of the interconnected low-rise structures, resembling a bird in flight, spanning 190,400 square metres," said Architecture Van Brandenburg.

Design studios, separate from the catwalk and events space, provide an inspiring workspace. The production wing, boutique hotel, exhibition spaces, restaurants and stores sit within a tranquil garden and cater to visitors and staff.

The 45-metre-tall superstructure showcases a sustainable design with recycled materials in its cladding, highlighting craftsmanship and eco-consciousness.

This project has been longlisted in the mixed-use project category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
