Makhno Studio has designed and built the Mureli House in Kozyn, Ukraine.

Makhno Studio, based in Kyiv, has designed a captivating all-beige home in Kozyn, showcasing soft textures and intricate ceramic walls.

Named Mureli House, it is a tribute to Ukrainian design and the summer season, with "mureli" translating as "apricot" in Ukrainian.

Completed just two months before the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022, the house features an open-plan living room and kitchen, three bedrooms with three bathrooms, a guest bathroom, a laundry room and a garage with a terrace.

"Despite the challenging times, Mureli House stands as a testament to Ukrainian craftsmanship and creativity," said Makhno Studio.

This project has been longlisted in the home interior category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
