Ambience has designed the lighting for the Nagnata flagship store.

"Cult fashion and lifestyle label Nagata's Byron Bay flagship features a rebellious retail lighting design that mimics and celebrates the brand's unapologetic refusal to conform," said Ambience.

Illumination is pivotal to both the space and the brand experience itself, helping to communicate the label's vivaciousness and to make Nagata an awe-inspiring experience for visitors.

"We were tasked with providing an illumination strategy that captured the maverick spirit of the brand," added Ambience. "We needed a concept that celebrated the brand’s artistry, movement, and nonconformity."

This project has been longlisted in the architectural lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
