Telha Clarke has revived and redeveloped the Saint Hotel in Melbourne, Australia.

This project was the revival of an iconic St Kilda venue compromising a series of premium fine dining, cocktail bar, listening lounge and function offerings across multiple levels.

"With an underlying sense of nostalgia, the overall vision circulates around the exploration of performative dining experiences nestled within a collection of considered social environments," said Telha Clarke.

Emphasis on the highly textural elements of the existing building character and the relationship between the raw and refined create an all-encompassing sensory experience.

"[The] Saint Hotel provides an elevated energy and ambience that confidently contributes to the contextual framework of St Kilda," added Telha Clarke.

This project has been longlisted in the restaurant and bar interior category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
