Solidwool has designed its own Welsh Mountain Hembury Chair to highlight the distinctive qualities of Solidwool.

Designed for both comfort and style, the Hembury Chair is designed to showcase the "beauty of Solidwool" – a unique and sustainable composite made in the UK using wool and bio-resin.

"Think fibreglass, but with wool," said Solidwool. "With simple lines and timeless appeal, every chair is unique."

Now made with new wool from Welsh Mountain Sheep, mottled cream, black, grey and brown fibres form an intricate web of organic tones, revealing a striking marbled effect.

"A timeless design made to last, this is a product to be cherished," added Solidwool. "A chair with conscience, beauty and soul."

This project has been longlisted in the furniture design category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
