Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2023 emerging architect of the year, London-based architecture and research studio Msoma Architects.

Msoma Architects was founded by British-Yemeni-Kenyan architect, writer and curator Bushra Mohamed. The studio aims to reflect cultural identities architecturally and spatially across housing, exhibitions, public spaces and cultural projects.

A recent project Islands at the Design Museum tackles the waste often associated with temporary exhibitions by adopting circular economy principles as well as showcasing the history of building with Earth.

Msoma Architects has been shortlisted in the emerging architect of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2023.
