Winner: Product design (bathroom and kitchen) of the year 2023. Studio Inma Bermudez has created Nu, a collection of brightly coloured taps, for Roca.

Roca's Nu collection of taps is a nod to the Mediterranean, with its vibrant colours reminiscent of the 20th-century architecture of Barcelona.

The collection, designed by Studio Inma Bermudez, takes its name from the French word for 'nude'.

Inspired by this concept, the designers sought to simplify the tap design by eliminating unnecessary elements and retaining only what they deemed essential.

The result is a slender 35mm diameter body, available in a choice of three different handle designs and in a range of playful finishes including mint green, cobalt blue and honey yellow.

Judges comments: "Daring and impactful colour use on a refined tap design. Elegant and timeless aesthetic for a contemporary setting. Playful yet minimalistic for everyday needs."
