Alfredo Häberli
Argentinian Alfredo Häberli is the founder and principal of studio Alfredo Häberli Design.
Today, he is an internationally established designer based in Zurich. He works with leading international design brands such as Alias, BD Barcelona, BMW, Camper, FSB, Georg Jensen, Iittala, Kvadrat, Luceplan, Moroso and Vitra.
Häberli's designs have been showcased in numerous European exhibitions, including SurroundThings at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich and Dis-play at London Design Festival.
He has received various awards for his work such as Designer of the Year from Architektur & Wohnen magazine, the Swiss Grand Prix of Design award from the Swiss Federal Office of Culture and was honoured with a monograph exhibition on the occasion of the international furniture fair IMM Cologne.
One of the designer's most significant hospitality projects is the 25-hour Hotel Zurich West, in which he was responsible for the interior design and the hotel's product design.
Häberli has also been on judging panels for the Design Preis Schweiz and the Frame Awards in Amsterdam.
