Andrew Waugh
Andrew Waugh is founding director of London-based Waugh Thistleton Architects.The practice is currently undergoing both research and design projects in Europe and North America.
Waugh is a key figure in the global shift towards renewable, bio-based materials. An advocate for low-carbon architecture and innovative construction, Waugh lobbies and lectures internationally, emphasizing the urgent need for change to address the climate crisis.
He has earned numerous accolades including the RIBA President's Award for Research, a Stirling Prize nomination in 2018 and UK Practice of the Year award in the AJ Architecture Awards 2023.
