Ben Edwards
Melbourne-based architect Ben Edwards is the founder of Studio Edwards.
After training as an architect in the UK, Edwards co-directed Edwards Moore Architects. In 2016 he founded Studio Edwards working on innovative projects spanning architecture, interiors and conceptual design.
Projects by Studio Edwards include a dwelling using a trio of shipping containers along the Wye River, a workspace for creative agency Today Design using recycled materials and an eyewear store with an aluminium facade in Melbourne.
Edwards won the Australian National Interior Design Excellence Award for projects including the Arnsdorf store and Lightbox House. His studio also won the 2012 Institute of Architects Award for dual-purpose Artist Carpark Studio while the Finesse shoe store in Melbourne won the National Australian Interior Design Award and was longlisted in Dezeen Awards 2023.
