Eric Owen Moss
Eric Owen Moss is the founder of the California-based practice Eric Owen Moss Architects (EOMA).
EOMA was founded in 1973 and recently celebrated its 50th year of work. Moss has received numerous accolades throughout his career including the Academy Award in Architecture from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the AIA Los Angeles Gold Medal, the Arnold W. Brunner Memorial Prize, the Jencks Award by the Royal Institute of British Architect and the 2020 American Prize for Architecture.
Moss has held teaching positions at major universities including Harvard, Yale, Columbia, the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, the Royal Academy in Copenhagen, and Tsinghua University in Beijing.
He has been a longtime professor at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and served as its director from 2002-2015.
