Odile Decq

Odile Decq

French architect and urban planner Odile Decq is the founder of Paris-based firm Studio Odile.

Notable projects by Decq include the University of Nantes, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome (MACRO), the headquarters of GL Events in Lyon and the Saint Ange artists' house in Seyssins. Her latest project is a 30-storey residential tower named Antares in Barcelona.

In 2018 Decq created two installations, Phantom's Phantom and Time-Space-Existence during the 16th Venice Biennale. Her most recent exhibitions include The Synesthetic Swirl at the Fuorisalone, a set of design events that take place every April in Milan.

She is also the recipient of multiple international awards, such as the 1996 Golden Lion Biennale, the Jane Drew Prize, and the Architizer Lifetime Achievement Award, among others.
