Studio Eduardo Aires has conceptualised and developed the 23rd Portuguese Government visual identity system.
The 23rd Portuguese Government wanted to update its visual identity, better adapting it to the mass use of social networks, digital services and devices.
Inevitably, the logo became one of the most important elements in this transformation.
"For its creation, in addition to the aforementioned adaptability to the digital context, it was important to preserve the integrity of national symbols," said Studio Eduardo Aires.
Therefore, the new logo is related to the national flag without reproducing its complex symbols.
The identity system was fully adapted and developed with concerns for recognisability, efficiency, distinctiveness and contemporaneity.
This project has been longlisted in the graphic design category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
