Keiji Ashizawa Design has designed the Aloop Clinic & Lab interiors in Tokyo, Japan.

This project began with the client's request to create a unique clinic that would serve as a base for expansion both domestically and internationally.

"We sympathised with the clinic's concept of taking on the root of skin concerns, approaching the project with the belief that interior design should also pursue this idea of essential enrichment," said Keiji.

The lounge seating at the entrance was designed to gently envelop the customers, helping them relax before and after their treatment without feeling conspicuous.

The corners of the space and the edges of the furniture are intentionally rounded to create a cohesive and soft space that sets the tone for the entire clinic.

This project has been longlisted in the health and well-being interior category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
