Slalom has designed Bloom, a collection of natural modular panels.
This project embodies Slalom's textile know-how and commitment to sustainability, utilising recycled plastic and regenerated bio-based materials derived from natural origins.
Crafted from an innovative combination of linen, GRS recycled plastic and a blend of grass and flower petals, Bloom emerges as a cutting-edge sound-absorbing wall system, opening a new chapter in Slalom's collection of thermoformed modular panels.
The product fully expresses Slalom's concept of 'Acousthetics' (the combination of acoustic comfort, ethics and aesthetics) while broadening the brand's audience targets.
Consistent with Slalom's philosophy, Bloom underscores the importance of acoustic wellness integrated into an architectural project from its early stages.
This project has been longlisted in the material innovation category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
