Keiji Ashizawa Design has designed the Blue Bottle Coffee Nagoya Sakae Cafe in Nagoya, Japan.

The Blue Bottle Coffee Nagoya Sakae Cafe is located on the street-facing corner of the first floor of the new symbolic building in central Nagoya, a city between Tokyo and Osaka.

With its prime location, the cafe was designed as a lounge space that welcomes visitors to the building.

Crafted in hand-laid tiles, the interior has been designed to create an architectural and calm division of the space that provides various seating to accommodate a diverse range of guests.

"The space is mostly furnished with Karimoku Case furniture that we...made with local Karimoku Furniture," said Keiji Ashizawa Design.

This project has been longlisted in the restaurant and bar interior category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
