Void Studio has designed Casa Estudio in Chihuahua, Mexico.

Casa Estudio, a historical house in Chihuahua, is a testament to change and adaptation that embodies the city's dynamic spirit, where history and innovation coexist.

Built on 19th-century foundations, the architects have transformed it into a modern living space while preserving its architectural heritage.

The three-storey house features a light-filled living room, a kitchen and a second-floor family room with a unique bathroom; original elements like wooden beams and limestone plaster walls blend with modern materials.

The rooftop terrace boasts stunning views and creates distinct areas for relaxation with desert plants and various furniture arrangements.

This project has been longlisted in the house renovation category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
