MICA Architects has designed the Cheng Yu Tung building for Jesus College in Oxford, United Kingdom.
The Cheng Yu Tung Building is a prominent and unique mixed-use facility in Oxford's city centre.
This project brings together teaching, retail, research, events and conferencing, NHS Healthcare and student living (in an outward-looking fourth quad) for the Elizabethan college.
The scheme is a major addition to Oxford's evolving city centre, providing high-quality new retail space combined with new teaching, living and social facilities for the College community.
As a result, the Cheng Yu Tung Building has transformed a prominent but previously unsightly street corner into a dynamic and attractive facade.
This project has been longlisted in the education project category of Dezeen Awards 2024.
